Broadcast Message: Report Cards and Parent/Teacher Interviews
This is a reminder that the report cards will be coming home with your child on Friday, February 10th. We will be having Parent/Teacher interviews on Tuesday, February 21st and appointments can be booked online. Instructions for booking interview appointments are being sent home with the report card. The instructions will also be posted on www.erams.ca. The primary purpose of this round of interviews is to meet with parents of our students who are struggling. We are asking that only parents of our “at-risk” students make interviews at this time. On February 10th the Principal’s newsletter will also be sent home to parents with the report card. A copy of the newsletter will also be posted on our website. This is also a reminder that our next School Council meeting will be held on Monday, February 13th at 7:30 p.m. in the Library. Thank you.

CLUB ROBOTICS
ECI-ROBOTICS is in the process of rebuilding our team for FIRST (For the Inspiration and Research of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition for the 2012 season.
Next year will challenging; because our new team must be trained in pneumatics, control systems, robotic programming, precision machining, mechanical assembly, electronics, robot designing, robot driving, and plastic fabrication.
This task may sound overwhelming, but I am confident that as a team, we can put ECI-ROBOTICS back on the Canadian and World map.

Parking:
There is no student parking at Etobicoke Collegiate. The number of spaces available barely accomodates staff members and would never satisfy the number of student who prefer to drive. Cars parked illegally will be tagged or towed. While there is no student parking available, there is a lot north of the football field, west of the school operated by the Kiwanis Club. (As per page 8 of your agenda)
If your child has a medical condition that the school should be aware of, please make sure you indicate that on the demographic information sheets that were distributed. If you have already returned yours and did not include this information, please call the school.
